Join us
If you are aged 17 or over, you can join as an Adult member; if you are between 12 and 16 years old, you can join as a Junior member. A Family membership is also available, covering two adults and two junior members resident at the same address. If you are not going to ride, you may join as a Non-riding member.
Memberships are renewable on 1st October each year.
You can download the 2007 Membership Form Forms should be completed and returned with the correct remittance to the Membership Secretary. Cheques should be made payable to "SERC Tayside".
As an Adult member, you can participate in any ride event, according to qualification. Junior members can also participate in all events but must be accompanied at all times, on a one to one ratio, by a nominated Adult member.
Junior members aged 14 - 16 years can participate on competitive rides unaccompanied once they have achieved their Bronze Thistle Final (BTF)

Benefits of joining
When you join, you will:
- be eligible for preferential rates on entry fees;
- be eligible for branch and SERC awards;
- be eligible to attend branch training events;
- be eligible to attend branch and Club AGM;
- receive the 'Ride Omnibus' which lists all the rides of all the branches in the forthcoming season
- receive a copy of the Rule Book and Club Constitution.
Fees
When you join you will be asked to pay a membership fee of:
- Adult
- £36
- Junior
- £24
- Family
- £54
- Non-riding member
- Half the applicable riding member fee
You will also be asked to pay an additional Horse Registration fee of £5 (2006-07).
If you intend to ride competitively your Horse Registration fee is £10 (2006-2007)
Before riding competitively your horse must have a Log Book. You may purchase one for £10 (2006-07).
